Garlic Chicken Artichoke Pizza

I love Pizza.
That is all there is to it.

One of our favorite meals is homemade pizza.
I buy the pre made thin crusts with 2 in the package.

We make hamburger or cheese pizza for the kids.
The grown ups have Garlic Chicken Artichoke Pizza.

Ingredients include:

5-6 garlic cloves chopped up
1 can of artichokes in water
1 jar sweet red peppers
1 Roma tomato sliced thin
feta cheese
mozzarella cheese
Chicken
pizza sauce

It really is the best pizza ever.
Not only is it really good for you,
but it is “raise the roof, knock your socks off, make you dream about it,” yummy!

Trust me, its that good.
Best part is, I have left overs for lunch today.

Do you make homemade pizza?

What kind is your favorite?

Christmas Decorations I Cant Live Without.

Growing up we didn’t count down to Christmas.
No reason that I can think of why we didn’t.

So a few years ago I picked this jolly Santa up at the local thrift store.
The 1st few yrs I would try really hard to find a small piece of candy for each day.
That got old really fast.
So now we use this little stuffed animal & he works great.

As it gets to about the #7 I usually panic to myself about being ready.

This is by far my FAVORITE decoration in the entire house.
Ever since Kalen & Korby were little, I have saved their artwork.
I hang it on the same wall every year.
Every year I have to remind the kids what they made.

“We already know this Mom” is usually their reply.
I don’t care, I always tell them anyway.
It really is my favorite decor, ever.

Korby made this wreath a few years ago at a school craft night.

You can find wool sweaters at the thrift store.
Wash and dry them for that felted look.
Then cut into tiny squares, poke a hole in the middle of each square.
Take a piece of floral wire and weave them onto the wire.
When its stuffed, fold the wire into a circle.
Add a bow and hang on the tree.
Isn’t that adorable?Do you use the same decor every year?

What are your favorite decorations this yr at your house?

Easy Homemade Pasta Salad Recipe

I LOVE garden fresh veggies!

I had a few tomatoes that needed to be used, so I decided to make pasta salad.

Cuz you know me, I’m so good at that kind of thing…….OK truth be told

I hate cooking, I always follow the exact recipe.

I never just throw something together.

But I attempted to today.

I found all the ingredients right here in our house.

No running to the store for me, lets face it…I hate going to the store.

I boiled pasta, rinsed with cold water & added:
tomatoes (from our garden)
green olives
fresh garlic
kraft fat free Italian dressing 1/2 cup
garbanzo beans
parmesan cheese

Chop it all up, mix it together, throw it in the bowl, & there you have it.

Your own garden fresh homemade pasta salad.

I’m going to let mine chill until dinner time…..
if I can stop myself from eating it now
It looks & smells delicious.
Happy Tuesday!
I almost forgot to mention that I blogged about my intern project over at christynelson.net
