We celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary on June 7th, with a trip to New York City. Neither one of us had been here before. It was on our bucket list. There is so much to see and do in this city that never sleeps. We wanted to share some of our trip with all of you.
There are street vendors on every corner. The fruit at this stand was fresh and affordable.
If you know me at all, you know that I LOVE LOVE LOVE world globes. When we found this one at the daily news I had to have my picture taken with it.
Times square really is magical. So many people from all over the world, just hanging out doing there own thing. The energy is exciting. We sat and people watched for hours.
Bryant Park in NYC is gorgeous. I love how this city has so many parks and hang out spots for people to gather. I would spend alot of hours just sitting in that park if I lived there.
We thought this was kind of an ironic street sign for NYC. Cars are honking everywhere you go. It is a fast paced, fast moving city.
Okay, check out this parking garage for a minute. Can you believe how they stack the cars up like that? This one one of Kiley’s favorite things about the city.
If you are in NYC please go check out the 911 memorial. It is absolutely breathtaking. I loved being able to read all the names of the people that lost their lives that day. This is a great tribute.
We stayed on the 33rd floor of the hotel. We could not get over all of the amazing views.
The tenement museum in NYC is a must see. I love hearing the stories of the immigrant families that came to America to start a new life. It was fascinating.
The Trump Tower door man was the friendliest dude I have ever seen, so I had to take his picture.
Happy Anniversary to me. Kiley surprised me with a trip to the Louis Vuitton store.
Ho Yip had the BEST Chinese food. We are constantly joking that we want to fly into NYC for an hour, eat ho yip, and go home. It was just that good.
The sun finally came out. Isn’t this city beautiful? This was another hotel room view.
Overall we had an amazing and unforgettable trip to NYC. We can not wait to go back in the future.
Thanks for reading about our trip.
