We decided to take a few days off over the memorial day weekend. For me, this meant taking a break from all of my electronic devices. At first, this was incredibly hard for me. I can run a lot of our business directly through my iphone. My phone is with me all of the time.
We had dinner at my parents. I didn’t take any photos. I just enjoyed everyone’s company. It took a lot of pressure off of me not to have to worry about what was going on with my phone. I didn’t even bring it with me.
We made a fun pennant flag banner out of vintage flour sacks. It is going to hang between the trees in our front yard. This is a fun project that Kiley and I took on together. It makes me happy to stand on our front porch and see that pennant flag between the two trees.
We cleaned up in the yard. There’s always plenty of work to do on the farm. Oh and did I mention we planted a garden?!?! Can’t wait to share photos with you.
We went to several graduation parties. Enjoyed several nice visits with families that we hadn’t seen in a while.
Taking a break from electronic devices was the best thing I ever did for myself. It was great to take some time off and just breathe.
Now it’s time for us to regroup and finish getting ready for the Old Glory Antique Fair in Denver Colorado. This is by far one of our favorite shows to set up a booth and sell our jewelry and home Decor. We can’t wait!! If you are in the area, please stop by and say hello.
