I have been making so many corn bags! I am so thankful for all the orders! This is the last of the orders (for now). I just finished cutting 13 sets of hand warmers for the cold winter days that, thankfully, have not made it to Nebraska, yet. So I decided with a few of the the corn bag funds I would buy myself a little something.
I have always wanted to learn to knit. I know that sounds funny. It looks so relaxing. I read blogs about knitting and think “Hey, I want to try that.” I have asked alot of friends and family and no one knows how. I’m the kind of learner that needs to see whatever you are teaching me 1st hand. Directions on paper are not a friend of mine.
So I ventured out to Joann’s last night and ended up with this round green loom from Provocraft. The outside of the package said I could make hats, scarves, and more. The only instructions are for a hat. I was kinda disappointed, I really really wanted to make a scarf. So this is the start of a hat. Don’t ask me how that is going to be a hat. Good news is…my daughter said she would love to wear it! 🙂 She was happy that I was not sitting in a rocking chair with 2 knitting needles looking like “an old granny”. Hahahaha!
