Have you ever thought about opening an Etsy shop?
Do you already have an Etsy shop?
Here are a few tips that I wish someone would have told me when I opened my shop.
1. Get to Know Your Account
See that tab at the top of the screen on the right side that says Your Shop?
Click on all those different settings, get to know them. These are your friends.
2. Make sure your Shop Name and Shop Title are not the same.
See where it says KraftyKash in blue font?
Underneath that it is your shop title, this should be a description of what is in your shop. This is one of the ways that those search engines find you.
You will be able to find these settings under your shop, in the info & appearance section.
3. Link Your Shop to your Facebook and Twitter page.
This is a feature that Etsy provides. It is a great way for customers to find you.
Go to your account at the top of the right hand screen, click settings, & then follow the instructions to connect your Twitter & Facebook account.
4. Share your individual listings through Social Media.
If you click on a listing in any Etsy shop, over on the right hand side of the screen you can share this listing on Pinterest, Facebook, & Twitter.
This is a great way to share your listings with everyone else. Don’t be afraid to do this a few times a day.
Make sure if you are pinning from Etsy that you include the price in the description. That way everyone knows it is for sale.
I hope that you find these tips helpful.
