This was a really fun & easy project that I did with a friend.
You will need:
newspaper or paper sacks to cover the surface of your work space
First off tape off the bottom of the stem of your wine glass with the masking tape.
You will be able to see this in the next picture.
Give your chalkboard paint a good stir.
Dip the bottom of the wine glass into your can of chalkboard paint right up to the masking tape.
Carefully lift out of paint and let the excess paint drip back into the can.
Here is where the wax paper comes in handy.
Carefully set your painted wine glass on to a the waxed paper to dry.
At about 30 and 60 seconds lift the glass off of the wax paper & move it to a new spot so the excess paint comes off.
Let it dry overnight.
Check it in the morning to make sure its dry.
The paint we used was thicker and needed to dry for 24 hours.
Whatever you do, ONLY wash in the sink with soap and water. Don’t put it in the dishwasher.
Doesn’t this sound easy?
Now when you are having a glass of wine you can write on your glass.
