Today was our 1st official snow day.
The kids and I have always looked forward to these days. We play in the snow, watch movies, hang out in our pajamas, that sort of thing.
My husband, Kiley, has been working at home with me for about 5 months. This was his 1st EVER snow day.
This morning he was looking at twitter on his phone & noticed that the local news station had tweeted that they needed volunteers to help with Meals on Wheels.
We have a 4×4 truck. Kiley loves driving in the snow.
We spent 3.5 hours, delivering 14 hot meals, to some of the nicest, kindest, most thankful, senior citizens right here in Lincoln NE.
It was an awesome way to spend our 1st snow day as a family.

Ahhh!!! That is so sweet! We drive through Lincoln to get to Kansas City, Mo. At least I think do…it sure sounds familiar;)
