Yesterday I went with our daughter Korby & our friend Kylee to the batting cages.
Kylee is giving Korby softball lessons this year in prep for try outs this summer.
I knew that there was a lot of things that she would be teaching Korby, but I never thought about life lessons being involved.
My girl had a bad attitude yesterday. She was working at a fast pitch machine & would maybe hit 1 out of 12 balls.
I sat and listened to her “I can’t do this. This is too hard.”
Kylee sat her down & talked to her about how “I can’t” should never come out of your mouth.
How you should always tell yourself that you are awesome at whatever you are working on. No matter how hard it is, you can do it.
Keep pushing forward & follow up with positive actions.
I would like to say that my girl immediately changed her attitude & butterflies started flying everywhere.
I have to say, she is stubborn like her Mama (yes that’s me)
Good news is a few hours later she was back to her old self.
I really feel like we both learned a lot from this day at the batting cages.

Love this! Kylee is a great role model for Korby and all of us. You are getting handy with that camera
